Spread: Human-to-Human transmission has been confirmed, through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Please note that the infected person is infectious during the incubation period and the incubation period of the COVID-19 is 14 days(most symptoms occur within 3-7 days). The main symptom is cough and fever (over 37.3℃/99.14℉). How to keep yourself safe from COVID-19?
1. Wear masks outdoors
a. Wearing a mask is one of the most effective ways to protect you from getting infected.
b. It’s recommended to wear N95 mask in vulnerable areas, wear surgical mask in ordinary areas can also effectively protect you from the infection.
c. Make sure to wear it properly by tightening up the nose clip and pulling the bottom of it over your chin so that your nose and mouth are both covered.
2.Avoid close contact with people who have flu or cold-like symptoms
a. COVID-19 is transmitted by respiratory droplets. Avoiding close contact and keeping a distance of about 6 feet when talking to someone is an effective way to prevent infection.
b. Suggest that stay at home and reduce time out.
c.Suggest that stop organizing meetings and parties.
3.Wash your hands frequently and properly
a.Wash your hands with soap(or 75% alcohol) and running water thoroughly for at least 15 seconds.
Especially in the following situations：
①Before eating and after using the toilet.
②After returning home.
③After touching trash and garbage.
④After contacting with animals or handling animal wastes.
b.Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Make sure that shared spaces have good air flow and avoid going to crowded places such as hospitals, railway stations and airports. Wear a mask if transport or movement is necessary.
5.Wash and disinfect regularly
Using disinfectant fluid to wash tablets, doorknobs, desk and other items which are frequently used.
